Here are three approaches we take to client partnerships at Connective DX.

We focus more on helping clients achieve their business goals, rather than just completing a project.

Our approach is to answer the right questions, rather than picking a technology or starting with the statement “we need a website.” We work with our clients to really understand what their digital needs are, and what those goals are, and how we can work together to realize them. Ultimately, we want our work to meet a set of business goals.

And our partnership is exactly that—it’s a partnership.

Clients will work with the same people from start to finish, and even in-person.

Connective DX is a small, attentive group of people. We have 2 offices, one on the east coast, one on the west coast, and the people that you meet during the sales process and as we are shaping what engagement looks like are generally the people you are going to be working with throughout your partnership with us. Sometimes, the nature of the relationship might evolve due to your business needs evolving, with more people added to projects, but the people who you meet and who you become comfortable with become your partners.

We push our clients to think about the big picture.

We will push back where we think that’s appropriate and where we are not sure that we are asking the right questions, or that our clients are asking the right questions. We believe that, when people are about to invest a tremendous amount of money in the optimization of a digital experience, the time to get the solutions right is at the beginning of the process—not at the end, not during development, and not when you’ve already invested a ton of time and effort in getting to a certain point. A lot of the work that we do is hypothesis-based. We look at existing research, we conduct research ourselves, and we will ask a lot of questions, in order to get to a set of hypotheses that we then use design activities and development to build out and prove.
