    MVP session recommendations for Sitecore Symposium

    As the start of Sitecore Symposium 2018 is quickly approaching, we are all packing our shorts for sunny Orlando, FL. This year, Symposium will be at the Dolphin and Swan resort in Disneyworld. The event runs from October 8th to the 11th. This year looks to be a pretty fantastic conference, and there are a few presentations I am eager to witness which I am sharing now to help you get prepared. Beyond the presentations, there are also a few things I think attendees should experience this year at Symposium.

    Healthcare you wear: Recent innovations worth getting excited about

    At Connective DX we spend a lot of time thinking about healthcare. In particular, we might be regarded as slightly obsessed with improving the digital patient experience, which is why it is impossible to ignore when two of our favorite consumer technology companies announce moves in the healthcare space.

    With their products moving beyond mere fitness or wellness apps, a handful of stars in Silicon Valley (and beyond) were recently selected by the US Food and Drug Administration to participate in the accelerated clearance process for software medical devices. And while many consumers see this as a good thing, as we’ll share, some of the excitement has been a little more cautious.

    When it comes to urgent care marketing, one might be tempted to believe it's sufficient to show up on Google maps and call it a day. After all, who really cares about the name of their clinician when they've got the flu? Common sense dictates that most patients who are urgently ill would like to find the closest place they can get well and get there as quickly as possible.  While it is accurate to say a location strategy is necessary, when it comes to prioritization within a specific, individual clinic's digital marketing mix, results may vary. Without being too cute about it, the importance of location-focused marketing depends on, well, your location.
